Welcome back, film lovers! Now that the hectic first week of classes is officially over and the dust has settled, it’s time to start getting cozy with our classes and enjoy all that film has to offer.

To start off this fun-filled semester, Coral Gables Art Cinema is hosting a special screening of Billy Wilder’s classic film noir masterpiece, Double Indemnity, and is inviting YOU to come see it.  Don’t miss out on watching the murderous tale of a wife, her lover, and an inconvenient husband on Tuesday, September 5th, at 7:00 PM. Buy your tickets now and you will also have the great opportunity to meet Dr. Andrew Strycharski, Director of the FIU Film Studies Program, who will be delivering some opening comments about the film.
