It’s Here: Popcorn Frights Film Festival Kicks Off A Week Of Horror!

South Florida’s premiere horror film festival has finally arrived! Popcorn Frights Film Festival kicks off their slasher-filled week tomorrow night at O Cinema Wynwood with a 7:00 PM screening of Tragedy Girls, followed by the North American premiere of Jackals at 9:00 PM, and Terrifier at 11:30 PM.

Saturday’s screenings begin early at 5:00 PM with the inaugural and much-anticipated HOMEGROWN: 100% PURE FRESH SQUEEZED FLORIDA HORROR sidebar which will feature several short films such as Rodney Ascher’s new documentary Primal Screen, as well as Buzzcut, It Began Without Warning, The Midnight Service, and Pandemonium. We encourage you to join us in supporting all of the local filmmakers that have worked hard to produce these films and take part in discussions with some of the directors that will be in attendance.

Rounding out the rest of this Saturday’s screenings are Game of Death, Mayhem, and Another Wolfcop. For more information on all the rest of the week’s screenings and ticket availability, check out Popcorn Frights’ Festival Schedule. Many of the screenings are either sold out or have less than 10 tickets remaining, so don’t waste any more time and purchase your tickets ASAP.
